Do you take requests?

This usually depends on the booker (you!) - many venues like me to arrive with a pre-determined, tried and tested setlist which I am very comfortable doing. But, if you would like me to take requests from your customers/audeince, I am happy to! I can’t always oblige but I have dozens and dozens of songs in my repertoire and I’ve tried stuff for the first time live before and it’s gone down a treat.
What is your setlist like?

The best of everything! It depends on the gig, but I always come with a decided setlist as well as extra songs in case I need them. I like to read the room to ensure audiences get the best entertainment, so it’s great to be prepared with other songs in case you find certain styles are landing better than others.
A typical setlist of mine features a wide variety well-known songs spanning genres and eras to compliment the atmosphere. Think ‘Take Me Home (Country Roads)’ and ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ for singalong classics. Think ‘Tainted Love’ and ‘Don’t You Want Me Baby’ for 80’s bops. Think ‘Ring of Fire’ and ‘I’m A Believer’ for old school tunes and think ‘Freed From Desire’ and ‘Hey Ya!’ for fun, reinvented acoustic renditions!
What if I give you a setlist/list of songs we’d like to hear from you?

Yes! Setlists tend to be curated by venues anyway. For example, when I play in Irish bars, I am asked to play a few Irish songs so I happily oblige. If you have a style of setlist you’d like me to perform, let me know and I can draft something up for you, or we can curate a setlist together!
What is your rate?

Rates vary depending on a few factors - where the gig is, when the gig, the length of the set(s) etc.. I adhere to The Musician’s Union guidance on rates. Please get in touch to find out more! Rest assured I do not expect a mother arranging a birthday party to have the same budget as a franchise venue, so any discussion will always be taken in context of your booking conditions.
